Welcome to the Bridge Memorial Club
We are a traditional private members social club at the heart of the community in Blackwater and Hawley.
Established in 1894 we have evolved over the years to incorporate the amenities our customers expect, to enjoy time with family and friends.
There is free guest Wi-Fi throughout the club and three large screens showing most major sports from Sky & BT in the fully air conditioned bar.
There is parking available behind the club, and we currently have an outdoor seating area should you wish to enjoy the sunshine.
The club is run by committee, and we have a fantastic Steward – Tracy – who, along with our amazing staff, keeps the place well stocked, the customers happy, and the beer flowing.
The atmosphere is friendly and informal and we are always pleased to welcome ladies and gentlemen who wish to become members. More joining information here.

In the club
We have all the facilities you might expect, and perhaps a few you didn’t! We also have several popular teams, societies, draws and entertainment options that should mean there is something for everyone!
We have:
- 2 full size snooker tables and 2 pool tables
- 3 dart boards
- Sky Sports & BT Sport showing live football and other major sporting events (post match analysis with our many in-house pundits)
- Two fruit machines and a tab lotto dispenser
- Active darts teams
- A large car park for use of our members
- Crib teams, always looking for new members
- A cash draw every Sunday afternoon
- An active golf society with outings on the last Friday of most months
- Live entertainment on most Saturday nights

Food and Drink
We have a fully stocked bar with an excellent selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks as well as crisps, nuts and sweets!
We also offer:
- Lunch 12-2pm on Wednesdays,
- Fish and chips 5-8pm on Fridays, and
- Brunch 12-2pm on Saturdays.
